This is one of my favorite recipes, Brett and Cela’s Protein Ice Cream. All you need is three simple ingredients. Some whey protein, my personal choice is XTEND Pro, a high-quality whey protein isolate, especially the vanilla ice cream flavor. I also use some unsweetened almond milk, although you can go for regular as well, this gives the recipe a great texture. And then you need some ripe bananas. For cooking equipment, all you’ll need is a blender.

Ice Cream Ingredients

For more protein slowly add a few more splashes of almond milk.

If you want more calories or fats in your diet you can add in some almond butter.

Protein Ice Cream Instructions

  1. The first step to this amazing protein ice cream recipe is to peel two bananas and chop them up. As a pro tip, if you weigh your bananas on a food scale, it’ll make this recipe even easier since all you’ll need is 150 grams of bananas for the recipe.
  2. Put your chopped bananas in a zip lock bag to freeze overnight.
  3. Add ½ cup of almond milk and bananas to the blender.
  4. Blend the bananas and almond milk, add extra almond milk if you want a smoother consistency.
  5. Add a scoop of XTEND Pro to the blender and mix.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
