Protein Hot Chocolate Recipe
There are few things as comforting as the sweet, warm, creamy taste of hot chocolate during the cold winter months. This recipe puts a twist on this decadent drink by adding in XTEND Pro for an added boost of high-quality protein.
1 cup (240mL) unsweetened almond milk (or dairy milk of your choice)
1 scoop (36g) XTEND Pro Whey Isolate, Chocolate Lava Cake
1 tbsp (5g) unsweetened cocoa powder
Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Mini chocolate chips (optional, for topping)
Heat milk in a mug in microwave for about 60-90 seconds. Start with 60 and heat longer if desired.
Add milk, protein powder, and cocoa powder to a blender. You could also shake up in a protein shaker bottle.
Pour into a glass. Top with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips if desired. Enjoy!
